Greetham Village

Welcome to Greetham, Rutland.

Greetham is a rural village situated in the north of Rutland, England's smallest county. It is some six miles from Oakham, the county seat and very close to Rutland Water which is internationally recognised as a globally important wetland site. The village is a mixture of stone cottages, several thatched cottages, converted barns and modern detached houses. It has a population of 650.

Despite its small size, it has a very active community with a warm and friendly atmosphere. In addition to three excellent pubs, village shop, a premier golf course nearby and a thriving community centre.

The area surrounding the village is very much a farming community and there are a surprising number of small businesses operated from the village.
