RIP Ma' am ...
Today, 8th September 2022, the second Elizabethan period ended with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Castle.
Like so many of us whether we are a royalist or not, we will not have known a time when we have not had a queen on the throne.
After 70 years on the throne, you gave us leadership, you were a shining beacon of hope. You served us with dignity and at times with humour ( Paddington Bear tea party). You had a word of encouragement sympathy or understanding with whoever crossed your path. We will miss your presence. Rest in peace mam
Today the South Witham Community Hub offer our condolences to the Windsor family. We may have lost a queen but you have lost a Mum, a granny and a great granny... we know your loss. We who have had a similar loss know your pain and we stand with you. We support you.
Today we have a new King.
God save the King...
