South Witham Village Hall

South Witham Village Hall Management Committee (SWVHMC) are responsible for the hire and running of the Village Hall

We are always looking for new ideas to raise funds for the hall and provide entertainment for the Village.

New volunteers who want to help and assist in all areas are very welcome.

Committee members have dwindled over the years and as some members get older they are less able to do some of the heavier work needed.  

In the past, we have had some great events that were enjoyed by all. These included a Charity Ball, Summer Gala and Winter Wonderland Dance.

Every year we provide an ‘Over 60’s’ Christmas Lunch, and a Christmas Party for the children in the village.

2022 looks to be a fantastic year after what has been a difficult couple of years due to the Pandemic.

We are planning a Jubilee Picnic and Dog show, a Music Festival and Family Fun Days throughout the summer.

Please come along to these events and support your community, you may even find that you enjoy them and meet new and interesting people along the way.

There are a variety of community groups that meet at the hall during the day and in the evenings.

These include Coffee Mornings, SW Village Welcome Club, Move it to Music, Indoor Kurling, Line Dancing, Zumba, Yoga, Wargaming and Kettlercise.  

The hall is also available to hire for private functions.
